Waterkids Preschool Classes
We offer year round classes, once a week, for 30 minutes (unless otherwise stated). Classes are organized by age and skill. Once registered your child will attend the same day and time each week. Preschool students are in small group classes with a maximum 4:1 student to teacher ratio.
Our Waterkids classes focus on body alignment, breathing and developing core body muscles as primary goals. It is our belief that these three aspects of swimming are the most important and need to be strongly developed before introducing stroke. Small children below the age of five are not able to extend their arms and legs without distorting their alignment. The WaterKids and Swimplicity program focus on using primary elements of stroke to develop core body. When they are developmentally ready our program introduces strokes in a way that is age appropriate.
